Instructions for Forcefield

Below is some information about Forcefield and how to get the best out of it.

1. How to use

Your bottle of Forcefield contains 30 servings, which is 10ml every day (300ml bottle). The little shot glass provided gives you exactly 10ml if you fill it 3/4 full.

The idea behind the glass is that it's a little easier than pouring into a spoon (because you have to completely fill a large tablespoon to get 10ml, which can get messy).

Wash the shot-glass after each use and re-use. If you lose the shot glass, let us know and we'll send you a new one with your next order.

2. Timing

The best time of day to take Vitamin D is typically in the morning. We're all about Rhythm and taking it in the morning aligns with the body's natural rhythm of vitamin D production.

You would normally need to take Vitamin D with a large meal  that contains fat, as Vitamin D is fat-soluble and is absorbed better when taken with dietary fats. However, because Forcefield is liposomal (its nutrients are pre-encapsulated in fat bubbles), you can have it in isolation and it will still be absorbed.

The most important factor is consistency and ensuring you take it at a time that fits your routine, as regular daily intake is key to maintaining adequate Vitamin D levels.

Definitely avoid taking Vitamin D late in the evening or at night because it can interfere with the body's production of melatonin, and affect your sleep patterns.

3. Storage

There are two things that Forcefield doesn't like. They are direct sunlight and heat.

Sunlight is a problem because UV rays can degrade the liposomes as well as the nutrients themselves, reducing their potency.

Heat also affects the structure of the liposomes but more importantly, the downside no artificial preservation in Forcefield is that the product must be kept chilled to prolong its shelf life.

For these two reason the best place to keep Forcefield, before and after it has been opened, is in the fridge.

4. Recommended with...

Forcefield was designed to be taken alongside a collagen (which makes up about 20-30% of bone mass.) which is why there is a high strength vitamin C to aid collagen synthesis.

Besides collagen, it's recommended to have:

  • Magnesium-Rich Foods: Magnesium is important for vitamin D metabolism. Foods rich in magnesium include leafy green vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, and whole grains.
  • Calcium-Rich Foods: Since vitamin D helps with calcium absorption, pairing it with calcium-rich foods like dairy products, leafy greens, or fortified plant-based milks can be advantageous.

5. Can I take other supplements with Forcefield?

It really depends on the supplement - and definitely speak to your medical practitioner about this - but in general you want to be taking as few supplements as possible, and getting as much nutrition from whole-food as you can. Lots of fruit and vegetables and plenty of water.

Definitely do not double up on any of the nutrients in Forcefield. For example there is no need to take additional vitamin D, C, K, or Zinc. You are already comfortably at or above the recommended daily dose with Forcefield.

6. Recycling

Forcefield is fully recyclable in your local government recycling schemes. Here in Cambridgeshire we have 'green bins' and you can simply pop it in there with all your glass and plastic as usual.

I think that covers the most common questions but if there is anything else I can help with, please simply contact me and I'll get back to you right away.
