Instructions for Deflame

Hopefully you've got your bottle of Deflame in the fridge at this point. You've probably tried a spoonful, and you might have some questions. Well here are some answers.

1. How did you make it so unbelievably delicious?

Ok.....we do realise we have created the Marmite of food supplements. You won't believe some of the messages we receive about the way it tastes! Some people absolutely love it, others find it 'bearable' to say the least. It's amazing how different we all are.

Here is the thing...Deflame tastes strong because it is strong. Efficacy is the single most important thing. Nothing has been added or taken away to modify the nutrient-dense ingredients in each spoonful. You will taste turmeric, ginger, marine Algae, frankincense, in that order. The bitter kick of frankincense at the end is very real, but once you get past it, you will be left with that fuzzy feeling you get when you take care of yourself.

2. How much?

For most people one 15ml serving (about one tablespoon) every day is sufficient. If you feel like you need an extra boost, you can take up to two spoonfuls for an initial period and revert back to one. Remember your body can only process so much and after a certain point it will pass straight through. This is dependent on your diet as well.

3. What if I have a stomach sensitivity?

If at any point you feel you might have a sensitivity, whether it's your stomach or anything else, then cut back and re-introduce slowly with food and you should be golden. If you have any concerns on interactions, always err on the side of caution and please speak to your medical practitioner who will understand your needs better than me, but I'm always here for a chat.

4. How often?

Before or after a meal? Morning or evening? We don’t like to be too prescriptive. The most important thing is to be consistent in getting the nutrients in your system every day. Give some thought to your own routine and build in Deflame in a way that is fun and enjoyable.

For example, if your goal is post exercise recovery, then adding Deflame to your water bottle is a great idea to aid muscle recovery, and to reduce pain and stiffness.

As a general rule, we advise you have it 30 mins before, or 2 hours after a meal. If you experience heartburn or if you have a sensitive stomach, then take it with a meal.

4.
It gets everywhere! Don’t say we didn’t warn you

Open Deflame over a sink and hold it at arm's length when you squeeze the bottle. It will be very difficult to get it out of your clothes. That is the downside to using pure curcumin in liquid form so please be extra careful.

Also, although it will wash out (eventually), you will stain dental aligners/retainers you might be wearing, so be sure to remove them beforehand and rinse you mouth before you pop them back in.

If you are concerned about staining your teeth, which can happen if you have implants made of certain materials, mix in water and drink through a straw to avoid contact with the teeth.

Finally, it’s good practice to wash the nozzle of the bottle every few days with warm water to prevent any unwanted staining.

5. Talk to me about results

If you are taking Deflame for a specific benefit, most people feel noticeable results after two to three weeks of consistent use. I'm going to check-in with you in a few days to see how you are getting on. It should be noted that as awesome as DEFLAME is, any condition you are experiencing, whether acute or chronic, is your body telling you that something isn’t quite right. Without recognising the root cause, and introducing the necessary lifestyle changes, no single product can provide a solution.

Lucky for you, we run an inflammation-focused blog that sits alongside our products to help you to be more empowered to make better decisions about your health.

I feel like I'm giving you too much information! Sorry, I just want to make sure you have everything you need.

Standing by in case you have any questions, comments or epiphanies (or just to have chat).
