Instructions for Complete Repair


Here are some of the basics to help you get started with your personalised Complete Repair Collagen.



1. Recommended use: Vegan

For vegan collagen with no add-ons we recommend 1 level scoop every day.

If you have added MCT or a functional mushroom, then we recommend 1 heaped scoop every day.

The vegan blends can be used in hot or cold drinks. Mixing into water works well but you can also add it to a juice such as cranberry or apple, if you prefer because it has a slightly sour taste.

Equally, because the vegan blend mixes well into any plant milk, adding it to a coffee or hot chocolate works well.

Whether you add it to a hot or cold beverage, just give it a thorough stir for about 30 seconds to fully disperse the product.

NOTE - vegan collagen does not mix well with cow's milk. It's almost like it knows it's not vegan and will curdle so plant milk only.



2. Recommended use: Bovine

We recommend 15g per day, every day which is two scoops.

It's a very versatile product so you can throw it into most beverages and foods without impacting the taste or consistency.



3. Scoop included

Helpful people that we are, your first order of Complete Repair includes a 7.5g scoop. Serving sizes differs per blend (see above).



4. When is the best time to take it?

Whenever you want, just be consistent. Personally we have it with a coffee first thing in the morning. If for whatever we've missed our coffee window, then we add it to a health-shake, usually after a workout.



5. If you have MCT in your blend

Then there are a couple of additional considerations.

MCT first thing in the morning is a great way to give your body and brain a boost. You will feel a noticeable and immediate effect.

MCT's fat burning properties work better when you use it first thing in the morning as well.

It goes well with coffee where the slight coconutty taste is better complemented than with tea, but both work. The benefit of adding it to tea and coffee is that, depending on how you like it, you can skip adding milk because of the creamer effect of the MCT.

Another great time to use it is post physical activity. When your energy levels are low or when you struggle to recover, using MCT will give your brain and muscles an intense shot of high quality fat to burn.



6. Be consistent

Because we blend each pouch individually by hand, the quantity of nutrients you see on the front of the pack is guaranteed. 

This means over the course of 1 month you will consume precisely 30 or 60 grams of Type II collagen (depending on what you specified). 

The point is it's important to be consistent so that you are getting the recommended level of nutrients per month.



7. Vitamin C

Is important for proper metabolism of collagen. It's likely that if you have a balanced diet, that you are getting all the vitamin C you need but just keep this in mind.



8. How long before I see results?

Really quickly. If you have joint pain, you should feel an improvement with days. Even If you are taking it preventatively you should feel stronger and more confident in your movement within days.

The ingredients we have used are actually backed by numerous clinical trials. Most trials show improvements in a short time-frame of between 7 and 10 days.



9. Can I take it alongside Deflame?

Yes, it's been designed from the outset to complement it. Sometimes we like have our spoonful of Deflame with Complete Repair in one single health shake for convenience but you don't need to have them together. Most of the time we have Deflame neat from the spoon and Complete Repair in coffee.



10. Storage

Keep your collagen in a cool, dry place. After each use, re-seal the bag and try to do so with as little air in the pouch as possible.

It'll keep for 6 months comfortably, once opened but you should get through it much quicker than that!
